This original documentary about teen homelessness was created by MediaLab filmmakers and Clevins Browne, UAP graduate and New Design HS alum '07. In 2008, students researched the issue of teen homelessness in NYC, interviewed people working in the field, trained as media activists, documented and then edited the stories of four formerly homeless youth, effectively raising their voices to make an impact. Award winner at the Urban MediaMakers Film Festival in Atlanta and traveled the globe with The Human Rights Watch International Film Festival.

This original documentary, created by Medialab filmmakers, shares the stories of two young artists living with diabetes and the relationship between identity, health, class and access.  Typecast is a submission for the festival circuit in 2011.

The MediaLab students produced a 3 minute animation about carbon footprint and energy usage awareness for WGBH. The commercial is currently in the semi-finalist stages of the competition.
