A Minute With Jose Lalin, The Heritage School 2010

Jose Lalin is a college-bound senior at The Heritage School in Spanish Harlem.  Jose is an exceptional dancer in Teaching Artist Sandra Perez’s after school Latin Dance program, one of several art forms that Urban Arts Partnership brings to the school through its structured arts-integrated education residencies.
 
In this “Minute With…” installment, Jose talks about his passion for dance and its cultural importance, the Master Class he took part in, and his excitement for the transition to college.  Jose will be giving his final performance at this year’s Urban Arts Festival, held on May 25th at the 92YTribeca.  Join us in congratulating Jose and wishing him an inspired future!
