There are many opportunities to volunteer with Urban Arts Partnership as event support, program review panelists, participants in school/community beautification projects, and more. You are encouraged to contact us, as are corporate community outreach offices. Below are a few of the volunteer partnerships we have established and look forward to continuing in the years to come. “Thanks so much for last week! Our team is still talking about it! We can’t wait to come back and help out some more.” – Ms. Beth Bloink, Virgin Mobile Volunteer

Goldman Sachs
Urban Arts Partnership is proud to be a regular participant in the Goldman Sachs Community TeamWorks volunteer initiative. Past projects have included beautification projects at Food & Finance High School (painting an arts café) and MS 131 in Chinatown (park cleaning for the school's annual community Arts Week). We look forward to continuing our partnership with Goldman Sachs in their commitment to make a tangible difference in our communities. Virgin Mobile
Working in coordination with Urban Arts Board member and Virgin Mobile executive Peter Lurie, Urban Arts Partnership has coordinated volunteer opportunities to help Virgin Mobile's staff connect meaningfully with underserved communities and, specifically, help improve the environment of our schools. Travelers - Funder
In addition to providing generous support through its foundation, Travelers has also become involved in Urban Arts Partnership through volunteers from their New York City offices as well. We are proud to have received volunteer support from Travelers at our Urban Arts Festival and as student portfolio review panelists during our in-school, in-class arts integration, and we hope to continue this partnership in new ways as our organizations grow together. Viacom
Employees from across Viacom (parent company to MTV, Comedy Central, VH1, and more) come together to volunteer with Urban Arts Partnership each year on Viacommunity Day. Urban Arts is proud that this year, the President and CEO of Viacom Philippe Dauman chose our beautification of MS 131 in Chinatown as one of the few sites he personally visited. While our volunteers are more than willing to get their hands dirty, they were also able to provide feedback to student presentations in a special needs classroom. Thanks to Viacom for your commitment to our partnership and to our students. Click here to see photos from Viacommunity Day 2010.

NBC Universal
NBC Universal is a vital partner of Urban Arts Partnership both in funding and volunteerism. These employees have been the driving force behind-the-scenes and front-of-house at many of our fundraising and community events. This year, we look forward to strengthening the relationship by connecting NBC Universal with our MediaLab students through a series of volunteer projects.
