Professional Development Opportunities 

A significant part of Urban Arts Partnership’s success in schools is based on our arts integration approach, where the arts are used as a vehicle for enriching core academic curricula and boosting students’ capacity for academic achievement.

Urban Arts offers customized Professional Development workshops for educators to build artistic skills through a hands-on lesson that demonstrates the Urban Arts methodology.

Workshops 

CONFLICT RESOLUTION/ANTI-BULLYING: Educators work with Urban Arts in integrating project based learning and arts-centered approaches.

ARTS INTEGRATION: Educators will learn how to incorporate art making into their common core curriculum using visual arts, theater, music, dance, or filmmaking.

CUSTOM: After a needs assessment with school and program administration, Urban Arts creates a custom series of arts-based solutions for your educational issues.

EMBEDDED PD: Putting theory into practice, Urban Arts specialists co- teach with educators in arts integration, conflict resolution, or custom workshops.

Pricing & Session Information 

$560: One UAP specialist provides one session of up to 3 hours that includes materials for up to 25 teachers. One UAP specialist in 3 hours of embedded PD workshops.

$863: Two UAP specialists facilitating separate art workshops provide one session of up to 3 hours that includes materials for up to 50 teachers. Two UAP specialists in 6 hours of embedded PD workshops (total).

$1,400: One UAP specialist provides one session of up to 3 hours that includes materials for up to 25 teachers, and 3 additional follow-up coaching sessions for up to two teachers each session.
