Each year, Urban Arts Partnership deepens ongoing relationships and forges new connections with corporate partners to enhance our programming and broaden the horizons of our students. We work together with sponsors to design meaningful community connections that help fulfill our mission.

  • Longstanding partners HBO have contributed to several Urban Arts programs and events, including past sponsorship of the annual Urban Arts Festival. Recently, marketing executives from HBO spent a full day at the company’s Scope-a-Thon conference reviewing and providing their expert recommendations on Urban Arts Partnership’s marketing strategy and artwork.

  • Urban Arts Partnership is proud to be a regular participant in the Goldman Sachs Community TeamWorks volunteer initiative. Past projects have included beautification projects at Food & Finance High School (painting an arts café), MS 131 in Chinatown (park cleaning for the school’s annual community Arts Week), and New Design High School (preparing their rooftop for summer community events.)

  • In addition to providing generous support through its foundation, Travelers has also become involved in Urban Arts Partnership through volunteers from their New York City offices. We are proud to have received volunteer support from Travelers at our Urban Arts Festival, Young Writers Program, and as student portfolio review panelists.

  • Employees from across Viacom (parent company to MTV, Comedy Central, VH1, and more) come together to volunteer with Urban Arts Partnership on Viacommunity Day. Our Viacom teams have lent their time to the beautification of MS 131 in Chinatown and coordinating a visit from Master Artists to an elementary school dance class at PS 20.

  • NBC Universal is a vital partner of Urban Arts Partnership, both in funding and volunteerism. Our friends at NBC4 hosted a career day for our Media Lab students at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, providing vital advice for pursuing jobs in that industry. NBC Universal employees have also participated in Media Lab films and as event support at our annual Urban Arts Festival.
