Montblanc Presents The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway Benefit – 10th Anniversary Show!

On Monday, November 14th, Urban Arts Partnership celebrated the 10th Anniversary of The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway with another one-night-only theatrical and musical performance. Executive Director Philip Courtney, President and CEO of Montblanc North America, and Production Director of The 24 Hour Company Philip Naude welcomed a pack house of supporters and explained the process that the talented cast and crew had undergone over the past 24 hours. Urban Arts Partnership poets Clevins Browne, Stephanie Herrera, and Olivia McClendon moved the crowd with their spoken word performance, sharing the stories of why they write. And then the show was underway – 6 brand-new plays punctuated by 6 musical performances, including a play by recent Urban Arts graduate Anthony Naranjo.

In the end, the evening raised over $412,000 for Urban Arts Partnership!
